We are beyond pumped for Adam Bainbridge’s, aka Kindness, brand new tune “World Restart”. It’s the first we’ve heard from Kindness since 2012’s excellent and highly overlooked debut, World, You Need A Change Of Mind. The forthcoming new LP is entitled Otherness and is out October 14 via Female Energy/Mom + Pop. The 10-track effort was recorded in studios across the world alongside a slew of collaborators, including Robyn, R&B singer Kelela, Ghanian rapper M.anifest, and Bainbridge’s old chum Dev Hynes. Listen to the R&B jazz-infused “World Restart” that enlists some vocal help from Kelala and Ade, below:

Continuing on with this trend of new “future pop”, here is a fuzzy, technicolor, “bilingual schoolyard dancehall” jam and a half from South London group Kero Kero Bonito. “Sick Beat” is all about KKB leader  Sarah Bonito destroying you at any video game. A part of the same future pop universe along with the like-minded SOPHIE, Felicita, A. G. Cook, etc., but perhaps a bit more accessible. Watch for a new version of KKB’s irresistible debut mixtape Intro Bonito is out August 25 on Double Denim. Listen to “Sick Beat” below:

Hat tip to Yumi Zouma for the heads up on their “new favourite band”, Paris’ Juniore, and their modish, chilling ’60s French pop-noir vibes, which have been described as sounding like “…Françoise Hardy met le pied dans un western spaghetti…” We’re into that. Juniore’s limited La fin du monde 7″ is out now via Entreprise. Listen to “La fin du monde” below:

Here’s another awesome new swirling, summer jam from Lemonade with “Come Down Softly”, which has us pretty pumped for their forthcoming new record Minus Tide. The album is out out September 9 via Cascine and can hopefully help us ease out of our post-summer blues.

The lovely Tei Shi recently sent over this gorgeous cover of Beyoncé’s “No Angel”. We’re looking forward to more from Tei Shi in the near future, but for now you can download this lovely cover for free, here.

We’re very pumped about this new demo / video from Madrid’s DEERS. It’s a fun, lighthearted chemistry that is pretty difficult to find in most bands these days. The video features a garage pop, summer jam called “Bamboo” and features Ana Garcia Perrote + Carlotta Cosials in various locations around Madrid. You can check that here. DEERS’ limited Demo 7″ is out now on Mom + Pop / Lucky Number. Watch the video for “Trippy Gum” below:
